Production PCBs

Thought I’d share a picture of our production PCBs….they’re now white (to coordinate with the rest of the design.

The strange-looking areas where there’s no solder mask a copper circle are called fiducials. They allow the vision system on the pick-and-place machine (a robot that assembles circuit boards) to re-calibrate its alignment of parts based on the actual PCB rather than “dead reckoning” based on a set of coordinates.

  1. When can we expect toreceive the Wimots?Best regards

    1. Hi Madalena!

Probably 4-6 weeks still by the time it arrives in Portugal. Manufacturing looks good so far 🙂

    2. We’ll start shipping in a few weeks once we’ve tested, programmed and packaged all the Wimotos.
